Scholastic Study Jams is an awesome collection of over 200  videos, slide shows, and step by step explanations for science and math topics. Your students will discover everything from invertebrates to the water cycle and the rule of divisibility.  Each Jam includes a teaching video/step-by-step/slide show, key vocabulary, and quiz section where they can practice what they have just learned.  Each Jam also suggests related jams where students can expand their learning and dig deeper on a subject.  This is an excellent resource if you are thinking about flipped learning!

iPad Innovations
This 1 semester hour class, which begins on April 17th, is designed for educators who would like to try new ideas using iPads that will inspire their students to be engaged, productive learners whether you have a few iPads or a 1:1 iPad program in your school or classroom.  A focus on best apps in all content areas and management techniques will give you a get start to using iPads in your classroom!
Participants must bring a fully charged iPad with updated version iOS 5 and an iTunes account or an iTunes gift card for some apps.

Fee:             $100

Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a Colorado State re-certification Certificate for 15 clock hours.

Wallwisher is an online bulletin board that hold notes, url's, video, and audio that might be used to discuss new ideas, brainstorm topics, take notes, give feedback, or voice an opinion. Only the creator of each wall needs a login.  Each contributor can add their own name to their note(s).
