iPad Summer Camp August 6, 2012
This camp is designed for teachers who wish to explore, create and collaborate with others to design a differentiated learning environment with the use of iPads in the classroom. Teachers must be familiar with using an iPad.

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Place: Cherry Creek's Student Achievement Resource Center

SMART Summer Camp August 7, 2012
Join our SMART Camp which is designed for SMART Board users who have completed a Level One Notebook Basics Class or equivalent experience.

It offers time to create Notebook lessons for your curriculum. "Just-in-time" mini-sessions will be offered to increase your knowledge and skills in using Notebook software. Plan and design lessons with the support of other teachers at your grade level or content area to add to your collection of SMART lessons for your students!

Time:         8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Cost:         $50
Colorado State Re-certification credit for 7.5 hours is included OR Adams State credit is an option for an additional $27.50 for each camp.

Scholastic Study Jams is an awesome collection of over 200 videos, slide shows, and step by step explanations for science and math topics. Your students will discover everything from invertebrates to the water cycle and the rule of divisibility. Each Jam includes a teaching video/step-by-step/slide show, key vocabulary, and quiz section where they can practice what they have just learned. Each Jam also suggests related jams where students can expand their learning and dig deeper on a subject. This is an excellent resource if you are thinking about flipped learning!

iPad Innovations
This 1 semester hour class, which begins on April 17th, is designed for educators who would like to try new ideas using iPads that will inspire their students to be engaged, productive learners whether you have a few iPads or a 1:1 iPad program in your school or classroom. A focus on best apps in all content areas and management techniques will give you a get start to using iPads in your classroom!
Participants must bring a fully charged iPad with updated version iOS 5 and an iTunes account or an iTunes gift card for some apps.

Fee:             $100

Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a Colorado State re-certification Certificate for 15 clock hours.
Adams State credit is an option for an additional $55.
