PD4Schools Grants
to support professional learning as a catalyst for increased student achievement
Overview:
The Morgridge Family Foundation (MFF) with the Mile High
United Way is offering matching grants for schools who qualify and wish to
participate in professional learning opportunities with The Center for 21st
Century Classrooms. Opportunities are offered for schools with iPads and interactive
whiteboards (IWB) to examine and transform instructional practices for the
achievement of every student.
Guidelines
- Schools interested in the PD4Schools program submit an application for matching funds for professional learning provided by the Center for 21st Century Classrooms
- After a grant has been accepted, the Center for 21st Century Classrooms and a school leadership team, including the principal, will design a program with the options as described in the PD4Schools program catalog.
- Grants will be awarded based on funds available, qualifications, commitment, and the narrative proposal.
Requirements:
- Schools must have a minimum of two teachers/staff who are willing to support their colleagues and partner with The Center for 21st Century Classrooms as a leadership team with this initiative.
- Schools must have principal commitment.
Timelines:
- A professional learning program designed by the Center for
21st Century Classrooms and the school may begin immediately as time schedules
permit based on available grant funds.
